Transferable skills
The training and experience gained as a Reservist has helped enhance my leadership skills which I've been able to apply in my civilian role supervising the construction of prototype vehicles.
Employer support
Jaguar and Land Rover has been very supportive and understanding of my commitments as a Reservist over the years.
"I was given full support from my employer both before and during my tour."
When I returned from mobilisation, my employer arranged extra staff cover to make the transition into my new role easy. This support removed an immense amount of pressure at a time when I was still re-adjusting to being back at work.
