Ravello IT Ltd: Chris Baldrey-Chourio
In January 2007, Chris was mobilised to Afghanistan for just over 6 months. He was on call within an Immediate Response Team (IRT) which comprised of Chris and his colleagues, a surgeon and a couple of medics, ready to be deployed with only ten minutes notice.
Chris and his team were there to provide security for the medical extraction team, deployed every day to help transport people with injuries to hospital.
Helping to save lives in Afghanistan can only be described as a life changing experience. His employer at Ravello IT Ltd gave him all the support he needed both during his Reservist training and mobilisation because they appreciate the valuable contribution Chris made while he was serving in Afghanistan.
