SaBRE aims to create an environment in which an effective relationship between the Volunteer Reserve Forces and employers can be established. To further this aim, we provide a significant source of information for journalists and other members of the media about the role of Reservists.
Providing information to the media
SaBRE answers media queries about employment issues which affect Reservists and their employers. It issues press releases, supplies photographic material, and offers points of contact for research, with the aim of heightening awareness of the benefits of employing Reservists. Selected journalists are also invited to participate in overseas employer visits to see Reservists either on operations or in training. For the latest developments see News and updates.
