SaBRE Website Listing of Supportive Employers

The SaBRE website enables employers to endorse publicly their support for the Reserve Forces by listing the companies which have pledged support.

Employers will be given a guided tour of the Palace of Westminster (Lords & Commons) and a visit to the Tower of London for the Ceremony of the Keys. The group will be hosted for lunch in the Ministry of Defence Main Building, Whitehall.

Executive Stretch: Nottingham, 19-21 September 2008

Executive Stretch is a unique leadership and teamwork programme for managers, organised by the Reserve Forces and SaBRE. This is a week-end programme of stimulating leadership and teamwork challenges, tasks and problems both physical and mental. Participants will gain greater self-confidence, enhanced communication skills and a better understanding of leadership and teamwork.

Ian Tumanov, Procurement Director of Pattonair Derby sent some of his employees on the 2007 Exercise and he said:

"I doubt as an employer I could ask for more from any course or team building event.... I will now test the team and see how they can employ some of the decision making and planning skills they have learnt."
