New Financial assistance regulations - Employers

On 14th April 2005 new regulations came into effect governing financial assistance for Reservists and their employers in the event of the Reservist's mobilisation. The result was to streamline the claims process and improve the level of financial assistance available to both groups. This article summarises the implications for employers.

Reservist awarded the Military Cross

LCpl Michael Davison MC of the Kings & Cheshire Regiment has been awarded the Military Cross. A member of the Territorial Army since November 2000, the Liverpool tradesman was honoured for courage displayed under fire in Basra, Iraq.
