The importance of Employer Notification
Since Employer Notification came into force on 1st April 2004 it has been a legal requirement for the MOD to contact employers of Reservists directly. This is done to make sure employers are aware they have Reservists within their workforce and are fully apprised of the associated benefits.
The role of the UESO in settling Employer/Reservist disputes
UESOs play a crucial role in securing a smooth return to work for Reservists following a mobilisation. Employer complications are rare but, when they do occur, UESOs can do much to help.
